World Heritage route is the most popular route in Halong Bay which covers the central part or the core area of World Heritage Site of Halong Bay.

Sites covered: Halong Bay, Sung Sot (Surprise/Amazing) Cave– Titov Beach and the hill, Vung Ha fishing village or Cua Van fishing village

What to expect: This is the most popular route in Halong Bay which covers the central part or the core area of World Heritage Site of Halong Bay. There is no doubt that this route is busiest in Halong Bay as there are hundreds of boats ply the water every day. The day trippers often make 4 hour boat trips which cover Thien Cung Grotto and Dau Go Cave meanwhile overnight cruisers visited further sites such as Surprise Cave, Titov Island and its hill and/or Water Cave. Most cruise boats follow this route starting from Bai Chay Tourist Pier or Royal Pier (Hoang Gia). The overnight anchorage is designed and regulated by the local authority so you might expect it's also busy at night. Some superior quality cruise operators re-schedule the route to enable passengers visiting the sites at quieter time and they anchor a away from the crowds making more enjoyable experience.
